COVID-19 UPDATE FROM SPT - 24/03/2020

24 March 2020

Dear Parents/Carers

Covid -19 Trust / School Position

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister last night, I want to provide an update on the Trust position. The guidance from the Government is very clear that, unless it is absolutely essential, all children and adults should stay at home for the next three weeks.

Schools are providing a very limited service to support the children of key workers and the most vulnerable (at risk) over the next few weeks.  Once the availability of staff across the Trust and partner agencies becomes sustainable and the Government alters guidance, schools plan to extend the support offer to include possible respite support.  Schools will be in touch directly with you about the availability of this support as and when this is available.

In the meantime , school staff will continue to make contact with you over the next few weeks to ensure that pupils and families feel supported, are in contact with the school and have the opportunity to ask any questions.

Please could I remind you to look at the School/Trust websites for the most up to date accurate information about your school.  If you are still unclear,  please call the school - Curnow's admin team are working remotely but you will be able to leave a message and these will be checked regularly.

Thank you for your understanding  and co-operation.

Yours sincerely

.
