CORONAVIRUS UPDATE STATEMENT FROM SPECIAL PARTNERSHIP TRUST - 19/03/2020

Dear Parent/Carer

Covid -19 Latest information and guidance

In these unprecedented times it is important to share as much accurate information as possible, as the information and guidance from the Government changes daily.

We need to reiterate the ongoing difficulties Schools are facing with high staff and pupil absence.  This does have an impact on the schools being able to provide a consistent safe learning environment.  Our priority is the safety and well-being of pupils and staff in our schools.  We will continue  to receive guidance on which groups of people are considered most vulnerable and should be self isolating, which groups are ‘key workers’ and which pupils are the most vulnerable.  We are awaiting further DfE guidance and will need time to plan / prepare a suitable offer.

The Trust is committed to providing the best possible offer during these uncertain times and is working with other schools, Trust, DfE and Cornwall Council. We hope to be able to provide more information about a county wide response to the school closure announcements later today.

We would like to thank you for your continued support, patience and co-operation during these challenging times  Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or queries.

Yours sincerely
