Facilitator to Access information to Communicate Effectively with Parents/Carers
In order to uphold a key aspect of our Curnow School mission statement (‘Uniting parents and Professionals’) Curnow School has established the FACE Team. This team is an integral part of the school working closely with parents, carers and multi-agency teams on a daily basis; through their work they assist the school in aspects of the self - evaluation process providing reports/data to the Senior Leadership Team and the Governors. Additionally they help develop/implement action plans by working alongside the Head, Deputy and Governors and most importantly parents/carers.
The FACE Team therefore helps the school uphold the aims of our mission statement through associated roles and responsibilities; these include:

Uniting parents and Professional (Transition into school and Transition across the school – transition booklets) School visits/tours (prospective parents/pupils) Communication with parents – e.g. – handbook, parent forum School web-site – pupil/parent pages Uniting Parents and Professionals Curnow School Association representative Parent surveys (new parents to the school – each Autumn Term) *Parent data (reviews/parent feedback including whole school events) Preparation of parent view Ofsted site for Annual Reviews Reports to Governors (as defined by SSEF) CIC support worker – CIC and PEP paperwork Updates of TRF’s /Risk assessments |
